Hi all! In case you didn’t hear or read, my Target Swim Campaign was TRENDING last week! I still can’t believe that some of my most beloved media brands wrote a story on our campaign. I’m still in awwwww about all of the positive response this campaign has received. I have now read every comment left on FB, Instagram, Twitter, every email you sent and I can’t thank you all for all of the wonderful things you had to say. So happy to hear you’re inspired to shop for swimsuits this summer! I have to say that sometimes we go about our days and jobs without stopping to think about the impact it may have on other people. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that this campaign would start such a positive dialogue about body image. That so many women would raise their hands and say– “I’m also terrified of shopping for swimsuits because I don’t like my body.” That so many of you would say– “Finally, women who look just like me in a campaign.” This campaign made me focus on celebrating the parts of my body that I love, versus focusing on the parts I don’t like. I’ve never felt more confident with the way that I look and I hope you’re inspired to feel the same way. Let’s spend less time beating ourselves up for having that piece of cake or that cocktail— life is way too short. Let’s love ourselves a little more and support and encourage future generations to do the same.
